Land line dropped calls

We have Xfinity Voice. About 6 months ago the calls started dropping, silence on my end - but apparently people can still hear me.
This is an office phone, I can't afford this annoyance.

I spent many long hours on the line with Xfinity last year.
They said the solution was an upgraded modem XB8T, which I got and installed 6 months ago.

The issue has not stopped. I even got a new wired phone.
I end up using my cell phone, and knew that it would be long waiting times to speak with someone...
I am right now on hold with Xfinity for over an hour.

Anyone have any ideas what this may be?

Hey there, user_t15klh, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Xfinity Voice concerns. We want to ensure the line is working for you especially if it is an office line. We would be happy to help with troubleshooting. 

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
