Dial Up Connection?
I got on the internet in 2002 using the so-called 'Dial Up Connection'. I'm still paying Microsoft for a Dial Up Connection. Do I need a Dial Up Connection if I am on Xfinity? Is it safe for me to cancel my 'Dial Up Connection'? I'm on Windows 11 Pro.

If you have Xfinity for your Internet Service you no longer need Dial Up as its been well put out to pasture by AOL of all things mind you ;)
Still there are some things to keep in mind. With Dialup , downloading updates in today's world of internet requires a broadband connection, something that will integrate into your daily computer life regularly so that your computer can stay secure. But also keep in mind that you need to also stay away from websites that are dangerous. If you have the XFI Gateway Router you can enable advanced security so that it makes it more difficult for your computer to go to malicious sites through the Advanced Security Option. And of course if you prefer total peace of mind many companies like McAfee and Norton to name a few can offer up more protection for yourself and your computer.
