Automatic voice mail taking over
Around the same time we lost our Xfinity connect app, my home phone now disregards my home answering machine and my fax machine. Everything is going to Xfinity voice. I called Xfinitity and they were going to remove their voice mail feature, but this did not happen like they said it would. Not sure if there is a system change that overrides my machines. I need my faxes, but now it just skips over the setting of the fax to connect after 3 rings.. I see the fax light up, and try to connect, but the fax just continues on to the voice mail and I receive an email transcript. Any assistance is appreciated.

This has been resolved. Got a new modem a few weeks ago. Phone cord was plugged into right modem plug. Should have been plugged in on back facing left plug.
