Voicemail: mailbox number is not in service ?

When someone gets to the voice mail on the home phone they are getting the following msg: "mailbox number you are trying to reach is not in service"

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello, user_e6f130 and thank you for taking the time to reach out. I would be happy to look into this voicemail concern for you. Have you ever had your voicemail work? Also, is this message coming up when you try to access your messages, or when someone tries to call you and gets to the voicemail?

I keep getting a message, as does callers trying to reach me, that says "the mailbox number you're trying to reach is not in service." Does anyone know how to fix this? I was on the phone with Comcast once for four hours and again for two hours. Both times, I was disconnected. Comcast doesn't seem to know how to fix the problem. TIA.
