Spam Calls & Robo Callers

I get spam calls and robo callers all the time and this has been happening for many years. Always harassing me and demanding money. I can only block 25 phone numbers at a time, it's not enough. What can comcast do to fix this?

Thanks for letting us know about this, @anonymous13231321123. We don't want to be overwhelmed by countless spam callers either. You're in the right place for help. To clarify, is this for your residential home phone, or is this on a mobile phone? If it's your home phone, have you tried Nomorobo?

@XfinityJoshuaE​ it's home phone. No, I haven't tried nomorobo. I don't want to sign up for addons because they aren't guaranteed to stop unwanted calls and the phone rings anyway when an unwanted caller dials my number which is a disturbance. You're going to need to provide me the person's name that keeps calling me and changing their number over and over.

We would highly recommend Nomorobo for this instance, and you can even remove the feature if it does not help! It has reduced the number of calls that I have been receiving and has been great so far! You can also sign up for the Do-Not-Call list online at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/what-is-the-national-do-not-call-registry which is a national list.

I'm already on the do not call list. Like I already mentioned you are going to need to find the person who is harassing me with police as this is unacceptable in its current state.

Unfortunately spam calls are a reality that just about every number will experience. We do have options to help reduce the number of unwanted calls though. Aside from using nomorobo, you can also visit https://xfinityspamfeedback.com/xfinity/ to report any reoccurring spam numbers you may be seeing.

Yesterday I got 30 Robo Calls and today they are starting again ! Can Xfinity do anything about this ?

Also now when I delete robo call on my handset it is clearing all the good names and numbers what is going on ?

Greetings, @user_5758bc. Thank you for reaching out to us in regard to this issue. I see where some of my colleagues have outlined a few steps above on how to reduce the number of Robo Calls you get throughout the day. There are a number of options starting from using NomoRobo to signing up on the Do-Not-Call list. With that said, this link will give you step-by-step instructions on how to set up the NomoRobo feature and this link will take you to the Do-Not-Call list. Please let me know if you run into any issues with the links I've provided.
