How to disable call forwarding

I have two lines coming through my gateway for my business phone. One of the lines goes directly to voicemail. I don't remember doing anything to forward it to voicemail. Can anyone tell me how to turn off call forwarding on the line so it rings and doesn't go right to voicemail?

If you're having trouble receiving phone calls with your Xfinity Voice service, try whichever of the following steps applies to you.

  • Make sure your phone's ringer is turned on.
  • If you hear half a ring on incoming calls, you may have Call Forwarding turned on. Check out how to deactivate Call Forwarding below.
  • Plug a working corded phone into different jacks to make sure a malfunctioning phone or jack isn't causing the issue.
  • Check out our tips to troubleshoot your phone service if you can't make or receive calls.


You can turn your Voice features on or off at any time. Just press the star (*) button and the following numbers:
