Home Phone Caller ID ... Every call is coming through as "Private Caller"

Every call is coming through as "Private Caller" in the TV through the Cable Box and on the phone.  Called support 4 or 5 times and always say the problem should be fixed within 48 hours and it doesn't  get fixed.  See this same issue all over the forum.  Why does this keep happening to people and why is it such a hassle to resolve?

A tech actually just resolved this.  She said something about have to add codes that took away caller ID block.  I don't quite follow, but hopefully that helps someone else having the same problem.  This was escalated after responding "N" to a text message asking if my problem had been resolved.  If you are looking to escalate your issue that may be a fast way to do so.
