Requesting community forum account cancellation

Hello, I accidentally had created my community forum account. My user id is saa7. Could you please close / cancel my community forum account? Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to post in our forums saa7! If you are a current Xfinity customer, your Xfinity ID provides access to our Xfinity forums automatically as an additional support option. This can not be removed since it is attached to your Xfinity ID as an active customer. None of your personal information is available in your forum profile, however. If you are not a current customer, you cannot use your Xfinity forums account, and it will be automatically disabled after some time of inactivity.

We do recommend keeping it active as this is a great resource for obtaining information on our amazing suite of Xfinity products and services. Did you want to keep the account active for now? Due to system limitations, we are unable to delete profiles from the forums. However there are 2 options:
 
  1. You can go into your profiles and uncheck all notifications. This will stop you from getting emails from the forums and allow you to come back later if you need assistance.
  2. I can let the Admin/Mod know that you are not wanting to participate in the forums at all and they can block you from the site.

Thank you for reaching out. Xfinity forum accounts cannot be permanently deleted because they are tied to your active Xfinity ID. However, you can stop using it, have it disabled due to inactivity, or, if a former customer, unlink the profile.
