Why is it that when you find a topic/issue similar to the one you are having and it says "Answered", you can't see the full answer? What good is answering something and marking it "Answered" if others can't benefit from the Answer?

... unless the post has been "archived". Then, incredibly enough, those two lines in the search results are all you have access to. Click on the post, and you wind up on the main forum landing page. Why they display results that aren't actually accessible, I can't imagine.

What’s your question that you’re trying to find an answer to?

I eventually found an answer to my question. However, it wasn't easy. When a question is marked "Answered" you are not displaying the full answser, just 2 lines of the answer are displayed.

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Xfinity Forum. If you complete a search within the forum and see a post that has the word "Answered3.JPG" simply click on the title of the post to go into it, from there you can read the full threaded conversation including the full answer. Once your in the threaded conversation you will notice at the top of the main post "Go To Answer" and if you click on that it will take you directly to the post that has the answer in its entirety.

Thank you. That's the point I was trying to make, Bruce. You should be able to see the answer even if it is archived, instead of having to ask the same questions again and again.
