Xfinity flex not working

My Xfinity flex isn’t working. When I turn on my tv using the flex remote, there’s an error screen telling me to call 1-800-Xfinity and a code in the bottom right corner of the screen XRE-00250. I’ve tried hitting the refresh button, turning it off and on, and unplugging it. I let it sit overnight but it’s still not working. I’ve called and tried the chat bot, but the bots don’t know what I need help with and haven’t put me in touch with a live agent.

We’re sorry you’ve been stuck dealing with that, especially after already trying the refresh, power cycle, unplugging it overnight, and still not being able to get through to someone.

 

The XRE-00250 error usually means the Flex box is having trouble recognizing the account or service it is tied to, so this may need an account/equipment refresh from our side instead of more basic troubleshooting. Since you have already tried the main steps, we do not want to keep sending you in circles.

- An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:” line.
