Unable to turn on flex streaming box
How do I turn on the flex box without the remote? I keep unplugging and re plugging the device and itll turn on for a few seconds then shut off. Itll have the “Hello” pop up, but cuts off after shortly after. I had to replace my remote because the other one was lost, but unable to pair the new remote because the box won’t turn on. Will I need to order a new box?

Hey @user_u7714s, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. You should be able to use any XR remote with the set-top box regardless of the set-top box status. Please follow the steps listed on our 'Pair, program, and factory reset your Xfinity remote' support page on how to pair the remote. Alternative, you can also try to use the online web remote by visiting our 'Xfinity Web Remote for X1 and Flex' support page. Please let us know if you are able to successfully pair the remote.
