Moved, can’t stream, xfinity can’t help

I’m about one more minor inconvenience away from canceling all services. We moved and before moving I called Xfinity to confirm our move and equipment to ensure we would be ok and our move would be seamless. Every single tech reassured me everything would work, just plug it in. I plugged in my modem, no, it didn’t work. I had to drive to the Xfinity store, exchange it for a new one and try again. It kept linking to my old service address so they said a new one would fix it. Finally, I got it to work with the new modem. Then I moved on to my xumo box. Plugged it in, it didn’t work. Same issue, it was connected to our last service address. I have to go to xfinity AGAIN to pick up and exchange equipment. It’s not close to my home.. at all, mind you. I plug it in, it doesn’t work. I’m stuck in this forever hellscape of linking my account over and over again. I talked to 10 different technicians. They finally sent someone one. Today, the tech arrives, he’s here for an hour and then has me write down a ticket number and shrugs and says there is an outage for activation. Are. You. Kidding. Me. We’ve gone A MONTH without streaming, but guess what? That bill is still due! Why should I pay for it when we haven’t been able to use it?! Im about to cancel this stupid xumo box and just get a Roku.

Anybody else have any ideas on what can get this xumo to work before I bring it outside “Office Space” style????
