Why do my email replies time out before I can send them?

If I take more than 60 seconds to type a reply to an email, my reply is disconnected from the server and the draft is NOT saved. This happens consistently. I am using windows 10 machines and windows 11 machines.

Are you using a client like Thunderbird or Windows Mail?  If so, try using only the webmail and your browser.  Does the same thing happen?

My problem occurs when I use my Windows 10 and Windows 11 Desktop Computer to access my email. I use Chrome as a web browser and I access my email through a link on the Xfiniity home page (after logging in). This problem does not occur when I access my email from an IPad using the IOS email app.

@user_d031cc, have you tried clearing cache/history in Chrome. Does this happen with any other browsers?

Something similar happened to me not too long ago and it was due to my clock on my computer was changed, please check to assure the clock and calendar are correct too.

Try clearing cache/history in Chrome.  Then sign out of the account and back in again.  You could also try with a different browser.  Like Edge or Firefox.  See if anything changes.

I cleared Chrome cashe but the problem still exists. I tried the Edge browser and is failed the same way. I am beginning to think this is a Window 10 and 11 security issue but I have no Idea how to fix it. Email from Ipad and Iphone email apps do not time out like the Browser-based email programs.

That is certainly one reason that this could be happening, @user_d031cc. Have you checked and verified that your security and Windows files are up-to-date as well? The only concerning thing is that you stated multiple computers are having the same issue. You could try using a separate Email application to see if that has the issue. It could also be an extension that you applied which I had an issue with before.
