Why can you empty the Spam folder only once?

This bug has been driving me crazy for years! You can't empty the contents of the Spam folder more than one time. After it's been emptied, clicking Empty Spam again to remove additional spam emails does absolutely nothing. You must select them all in the reading pane and move them to Trash manually.

Why does Comcast refuse to fix this issue?????

We understand how frustrating that must be, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. The ability to empty the Spam folder multiple times should work as expected, so if you’re running into this issue repeatedly, we’d love to help troubleshoot.

A few things that might help:

1. Try clearing your cache & cookies – sometimes a browser issue can interfere with email functions.
2. Test a different browser or device to see if the issue persists.
3. Make sure your email settings are up to date – sometimes, filtering rules can affect how spam is handled.

That said, we totally hear your frustration, and we’ll make sure this feedback gets shared with the right team. If you’re still running into this problem after trying the above, let us know, and we’ll be happy to dig deeper!

Thank you for your feedback, kram160. To empty your Xfinity spam folder, navigate to the "Spam" folder in your email, select all the emails you want to delete, and then click the "Delete" or "Empty Folder" option; you can also simply access the Spam folder and click "Empty Folder" to delete all emails within it at once, as Xfinity automatically deletes spam emails after seven days.
