Where did all of my emails go?

I can only access 30 days of received emails.  Where did all of my email go?  And how to restore ALL of my email?!

@XfinityNico

you phishing? the link no worky.

I've used Comcast for over 20 years, many, many issues over that time, mainly the spotty intermittent internet service.  Now, their customer service (Can we call it that???) is total garbage.

I've always thought they would have my (email) information on the servers safe and sound (which I pay a kings ransom for.... by the way! As most of you all know). Recently I have lost everything, the email are gone, and I have a $hit ton of information on my email accounts.

Does anyone have some insight in how to recover them?  I would be very grateful for any help.

Thx very much,

cool hand luke

I have suddenly lost about 2 years worth of sent emails. And yes, the link posted by @XfinityNico does not work.

@user_383af4 have you tried checking the trash folder?

Recovering Deleted Email

  1. Go to https://comca.st/2YHGl0d and log in with your email address and password.
  2. Go to the mailbox by clicking on the Email tab.
  3. Right-click on the Trash folder or click on the More Actions icon (three lines) next to the trash folder, then select Recover Deleted Items.
  4. Select the messages to be restored, then click Move Selected Items.
  5. Select the appropriate destination folder and click OK or Move.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Had my CPU cleaned. Lost access to my emails .  Previously, when I went online, some choices popped up and one said Xfinity which took me directly to my email.  That no longer happens.

Hello, @user_e6d5a0. You can visit our Xfinity Connect website to log in to your email. If you are wanting to use a different program to access them such as Outlook we can help with that as well. Please let me know if you are able to view your emails or if you have additional questions.

Greetings, @user_703508! Thanks for reaching out to us on the Forums! I hope you are having an amazing day! I apologize to hear of the issues you are having with your emails missing. I don't know what I would do if I was missing 2 years of emails either. Let's see if we can get this sorted out for you. Can you let us know if this was through a 3rd party client or can you not see them through the Xfinity webmail?

@user_703508  there was a large deleted on April 10th through the 3rd party client "GImapProxy." Typically this means your Comcast.net email address was imported/added to a Gmail account. Because Gmail syncs changes back to us, if you delete your Comcast.net emails in your Gmail account, it will also sync the deletes back to us and delete your email.  You can read more about the service on Google's support pages: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6304825?ctx=gmail&hl=en&authuser=1

Note: If you do not use Gmail's client, web, etc to access your Comcast.net mail, you should change your password and secure your mailbox.
