Unblock Truth Social
I have been unable to join Truth Social Network: due to never receiving a confirmation email they are attempting to send to my @comcast.net email address. Others have reported that they get the verification email immediately when they use a different email account such as @gmail.com. Please remove the Truth Social block on my email account. Comcast says this is some trash about Truth Social not having something called a valid "PTR" record. Whatever that is. Interesting how they are the only email service with this "prohibition". Convenient that their support can say, "Out of our hands. We've 'reached out' to Truth Social several times and get no response. Gee whiz." I set up a TS account using Gmail, no problem. I've been a Comcast customer for, literally, decades. Typical [Edited: "Language"].

Many providers require a valid PTR record for proper delivery. This can be confirmed by a quick web search "email require PTR".
As we explore our data relating to Truth.Social (truthsocial.com), we can see they primarily send from four IP addresses (172.98.59.229,172.98.59.227,172.98.59.220,172.98.59.221, owned by Rumble) for email confirmation (they use Twilio for another set of messages from another set of IPs). In most situations, these IPs are able to send mail without issue. From time to time, the PTR record (again, we require a proper result) is not accessible it seems. In digging a bit more, it seems as though one of the Rumble (also the DNS provider they use) DNS systems is not responding properly:
https://dnsviz.net/d/221.59.98.172.in-addr.arpa/dnssec/
(an independent website/tool, which will perform a PTR lookup if you supply only an IP in the query field)
While we do cache the results for these PTR lookups, the TTL the DNS provider specifies is only one hour for positive cache. Negative cache is specified on our side by our DNS infrastructure, but is typically far less than an hour.
I'm not aware that we have a contact at Rumble, though I have reached out to Twilio to see if they can connect us to Truth.Social to alert them to this "unavailable" DNS server on the Rumble side. We would like to resolve this so that our users can reliably use Truth.Social and properly receive email validations, as well as other notifications from their platform.

Just to follow up here. We were able to make contact with the folks at Truth.Social/TMTG. They reached out to their provider to fix things on their end. It looks like things have been working better over the past week or so. All messages have delivered to the inbox (minus the ones over quota, or invalid recipient). If you see problems again the future, please reach out. We'll do our best to resolve the situation.
