Unblock spam folder

How do I get my spam folder unlocked/unblocked?  The problem is that if I receive an email that they block I cannot see it to retrieve it.  For example

if I receive a communication from a company who sends out lots of emails every day and they block it the email does not go into the spam folder it disappears which can cause major problems

The Employee's link will not be helpful when spam filtering prevents email from reaching your Inbox and Spam folders. The only thing you can do is ask Comcast Security Assurance if they can unblock the sender. You can reach them at 1-888-565-4329 (from https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse). Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful, so you may need to be persistent and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.
