Two email addresses—one is set up the other will not
I recently reactivated a second email address that I've had for quite a while. It was problematic and I eventually needed to speak to someone about getting it activated. I am able to log in to email on the Xfinity platform. Now, I'm trying to add it to my Mac Mail program on my iMac. My other Comcast address works just fine, but this one will NOT be authenticated. I have followed the steps listed by the AI assistant, but have hit a wall. I would like to be able to access this account on my desktop and my iPhone. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to do this? It's very difficult to actually speak to a human being at Xfinity. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey there, user_ked6hb, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding the issues with your email account. We would be happy to help you with troubleshooting the issue. You have reached the right place!
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
