Stop forwarding old comcast emails to my gmail
Years ago, comcast assigned me an email shared by someone else. I had those emails forwarded to my gmail. I am no longer a comcast customer yet I still receive the other person's emails, including recent appointments and receipts. How do I stop this?
I don't want anything forwarded from my old Comcast.net to my current gmail.

You need to log into Comcast webmail using that users credentials (or have them log in), then turn off the forwarding. If you do not have that info, then you may need to either call Comcast, or hope one of the employees here can work with you over direct messaging.

Hello @user_90a27c Thanks for reaching out for help with removing the email forwarding. @andyross is correct, you would need to sign in to that email account and disable forwarding. If that is not an option you could create a rule in your gmail account to automatically delete the emails. If those options are not available you can call our Xfinity Security Assurance team to see if they are able to assist with removing the forwarding option. Our team unfortunately do not have access to the email accounts to disable that feature. Are you able to sign in to the comcast.net email account?

If we know the comcast.net address, we can update those preferences.

It seems like you could easily update my preference with my old comcast.net email address. I've given it to Comcast many times with no results. Maybe it is because another customer, one with a similar name but who I don't know, complicates things. This should be a simple fix. Turns out, it's not.
