Sent from my comcast email, blocked as spam with URL link
I sent an email from my comcast email to a hotmail address, it was cancelled and returned with the following reason 'Your message was not delivered to its intended recipient(s) because our automated spam filtering tools recognized one or more characteristics of your message as potentially associated with spam.' The only thing I could find that may have triggered this in the email was a web URL link for a car forum ending in .com. If I send an email with any web link in it will it be flagged as possible spam, so no links can be sent? Is there a way to verify a safe link?

We actually wouldn't be able to confirm either, that is why I suggested isolating the link. We've seen a variety of websites cause that error, it would be hard to pinpoint the reasoning as many factors are included in the filtering process. I must say that I like your critical thinking skills, @user_8197d4. Thanks for letting us know that sharing the page in plain text rather than hyperlink helped!

Hi @user_8197d4,
Have you attempted to change some language in the email aside from the link itself? It may also be worth trying to send the email with the same content except for the link to see if that is truly raising the flag.
