Hi @user_ca2312c , To add an email address, sign in at xfinity.com under your Primary Account. Select the My Account link on the xfinity.com home page. In the Email Settings table, select Create Additional Email Accounts.

I want to set up a second email account ...

You may find it simpler to create the new user as a Viewer, compared to the other two user types.

Note that you need to be logged in as the Primary user to do this.

After the new user account is created, you'll need to log in to https://connect.xfinity.com/ and accept the terms to complete the email account creation.

Ok, I'll try that, thanks. Hey, I figured out how to change my primary email address and ID on my own, lol.

@XfinityMikeB , I see what you think I meant.  No, I wanted to create a secondary comcast.net email account, not add another email account to my comcast email reader.  I know with the old xfinity home page you could add a "user" and make an email account but with the new home page I don't see that anywhere.  Please show me how, thanks.

With the current version of "My Account" you can't create a new email address without also adding a new user.

None of the idea above worked in creating a 2nd comcast email address.  It will not let me set up the new user on my outlook  = (

What are you trying to do exactly? It isn't clear. In any event you need to define the new UserID/email in Comcast's My Account and webmail before you will be able to add it in Outlook.

@BruceW - I want to do that that user wants to do ... I want a secondary email account separate from my email account with Comcast/Xfinity

I want it so when the person signs in ... they have nothing but an email account to work with or simply just look at the Xfinity screen advertisements

But when I do whatever is written in here to do... I do nothing but create another way to log into..."MY"... Xfinity account, which is completely ridiculous, because why would anybody want to go through all that trouble to get to their email account, when they already have a username and password

I select Viewer... add a fake name, create a password, a security question... and then click on Activate... and I just logged myself into my own email account... which is also weird.... because why would I invite family and friends to look at emails that most if not all people keep ... PRIVATE"

So... is this the extent of the additional 6 people you can invite to simply read email messages that are normally kept private ...????

@

user_f842fc  The Viewer role should only allow limited access to some services like streaming and the email set up for that profile. Are you able to verify it's showing that profile when you try to log in? Can you try an incognito or private browsing window to check it so that your browsers isn't trying to pull from a previous log in? You can see the differences in user roles here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts

@user_ca2312c

You also need to log out of one account and then log in to the secondary account.

As BruceW said, you need to create the secondary email account in Comcast before it can be added to Outlook.

Hey, I figured out how to change my primary email address and ID on my own, lol.

Realize now that you no longer can receive emails at that old primary email address, unless you kept it active and just added another secondary email account.
