saved email was deleted by comcast

Yep,

You did it again,  went to check on saved email and it all has been deleted this morning.

Documents on house insurance, senior freeze, reverse mortgage, purchases from Amazon, Rush cancer treatment, United Health Insurance, Social Security, taxes, vote by mail, roof repair, they are all gone. WHY WHY DID YOU DO THIS

raptyrred Appreciate you providing a heads-up, but we do not delete messages. Xfinity Email does not have a single dedicated "saved email" button for sent messages, you can save emails as Drafts while composing, Download (.eml) individual messages to your computer, or Save as PDF via your browser. How are you saving the email? If they are locally stored on your computer, those would be managed by you.

Ways to Save Emails in Xfinity
  • Save Drafts: While writing an email, click the menu icon (three lines) at the bottom of the compose window and select Save draft and close to keep it in your Drafts folder.
  • Download as .eml: Open an individual message in the webmail interface and use the Download (.eml) option to save a copy directly to your computer.
  • Print to PDF: Open the email, select the print option, and choose Save as PDF from your browser's print menu.
  • Keep Sent Copies: Xfinity automatically saves a copy of all successfully sent messages in your Sent folder.

When you go to your comcast/xfinity email, on the left is a 'tree' that shows you can save your emails. You can 'drag' the emails you wish to keep onto the saved side. You can create specific folders for the emails you want to save on comcast email.  I have folders for my house insurance payments, federal and state taxes which had been paid, items purchased from various online retailers, vote by mail emails, reverse mortgage statements, property tax payments, and several others. I went to bed on 9/7 and they had been there, woke up on 9/8 and the folders were empty. You trying to tell me that during the course of the night I deleted the saved emails in my sleep?

@raptyrred

I don't remember, are you using a third party email app, or just the website?
