jenxteen Hi there! Losing email access on both your iPhone and iPad is a big deal, and we appreciate you sticking with us here.

 

What’s happening now tells us this is not a device issue. The “SMTP server is not responding” message means your phone is trying to send mail, but the mail server is rejecting or timing out the connection. Deleting and re-adding the account was a reasonable step, but at this point it confirms the issue is on the email configuration or server side, not something you’re doing wrong.

 

Can you initiate a direct message and start with your full name and address? To start a direct message, you must be signed in. Please click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right of the page next to the bell, and send your message to "Xfinity Support". Talk to you there!
