Not receiving emails

I stopped getting email yesterday July 4. I have had and used my email address daily for decades. July 4, I accessed my email on Xfinity and updated my password to no affect. I have found and read the notice that Xfinity is outsourcing email management to Yahoo and that we would received a notice when we were supposed to make the switch.  I have not received such a notice (or phone message) from Xfinity. Yet I have lost my incoming email.  What do I do?
This is my primary email so I need it back desperately. Thank you.

Hey @user_6y8931 , Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding your email. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you. Are you using a 3rd party mail client to check your email?

Yes, I get my email on  Thunderbird, a T-mobile Android mobile phone, a Verizon Android mobile phone, and an IPad. None of these are receiving my email though I have updated the connections to the Xfinity server  on them. I also can see my email on the Xfinity site....Xfinity mail. They all stopped at the same time.
