Not receiving email

I am not receiving email from my daughter’s school nor is my husband. Other friends who don’t use xfinity are receiving email. This just started happening, we’ve been at the school for 6 years.
Could Comcast be blocking the schools domain? How do I get that checked or fixed?

I will add, there is nothing from the school in my spam folder. My husband and I use two different Comcast emails which is why I think the school could be blocking the domain.

I am having this issue also. I am not receiving email that I send to my (or my wife's) comcast account from a non-Comcast account I own. I have tried several times. Doesn't go to inbox or spam or trash. I can send out normally. As best as I can tell, it just started today.

I'm having the same issue where I can send messages but can't receive any. I did send a message from my own account to myself, and that worked, but any other external messages aren't getting through. I've tried several other email accounts.

A search of the community forum turned up several of these complaints through the last few years. Mostly it looks like an issue on Xfinity's end and hopefully that is what it is this time. Others talked about adding email forwarding, then turning it back off, but I suspect that was just good timing. I tried it and nothing was actually forwarded.

I'm on hold with support right now. I'll update if I actually ever get to talk to a rep.

Thank you! Let me know if you find out anything. You have more patience than I do in trying to actually talk to them. 
I have been getting other emails today- it seems like it might just be my daughter’s school but it is somewhat reassuring to hear others are having issues.

I too am not receiving some emails from external accounts. Tried sending several emails from a work email as well as a gmail account and they are not showing up in my comcast account.

If you are not receiving emails from certain accounts you may need to check your email filter settings to make sure there is not something set up there incorrectly. If there is no issue with the filter settings you may need to reach out to the Customer security team at https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ to have them check on that for you.

I did some DM-ing with a rep. He could see the issue also. Could not receive emails he was sending himself. So they are aware and agree, at the least.

My emails seem to trickle in upwards of 20 minutes or more after I've sent them. This issue started for me about 6 hours ago and emails sent around that time seem to be gone into the ether. More recent emails, from about an hour or so ago, are making it through, but it takes a long time (in computer time.... ) to get to my inbox.

I've been escalated up to level 2, and now they are sending me to level 3.

Hopefully this means they have fixed whatever was completely blocking the emails earlier and now the server is just slow.

I sent myself a message from gmail to gmail and Comcast about 15

minutes ago. I’ll report back when Comcast receives it if it does

For me the problem is receiving @gmail emails. Other emails are getting through. I couldn't get through to customer service.

I’m on hold with them now. They say they are getting a “bunch of calls” but I have to wait to talk to the next level up because the fix is beyond her capabilities. 
I’m not convinced there is a fix.

While I am waiting on hold, I went ahead and signed out and signed back in and a test I sent from gmail after that went thru with no delay

I just got off the phone with support. I don’t know if I was given an accurate answer or just fed something. He said they fixed something on my account and it will take two hours to process because the update takes that long. I asked about all the other people that are complaining about the same problem and he said oh no they are fixing something. But he couldn’t say whether or not everyone else would be fixed at the same time. So I am really not sure anyone will be fixed.

I'm having same issue, gmail domain emails basically blocked since about 9:30 am EST.  I live about 14 miles northwest of Boston.  I had asked friends to send me test emails  and one of them sent at 11:19 am did not come until just now, around 7:15 pm.  I sent myself test emails from multiple domains and even from my email having issues, and the gmail ones are the ones not getting  through.  Hotmail came through, one from work domain came through (but some did not), and one from my kid's school email came through

When I called Xfinity at like 1 pm EST today, the tech said they would do an email restore, but all that did was restore spam that I deleted.  And spam is getting through but not the important emails.

I've now received a bunch of emails from @gmail senders that were sent over the course of the day. I hope I'm getting all of them and I wish everyone the best of luck with their emails!
