Not Receiving all Email Messages

I have checked all my settings on for my email connect using the xfinity online service and I have not received any email messages since Sept 1, 2023.  There are no messages being sent via the comcast email server.  I have tried using different email devices with no luck.  

I tried looking at all the email support available online in the Xfinity site, but there is nothing that helps out. 

Is this a technical issue from Xfinity?  How can this be fixed?

@jlmilan Have you checked your email with the Webmail system, instead of a third-party device?  I see messages flowing in for your account.

Hi Xfinity,

Yes, these are messages we tested to see if the webmail service is working.  I sent a view email messages to and from my xfinity email account and nothing was received or sent.  

My concern is that I have important email message that I have not received.  I am missing 19 days worth or emails that are not showing up on my webmail account.  I do have a third party program, but its showing the same info as what I have from my online webmail.  No email messages received since Sept 1 to present.  

This is the problem.  What happened to all my email message from Sept 1 to Present?   I need to ensure that I have not missed out on any very important email messages.

What can be done to help with this issue?

Hi, @jlmilan! Thank you so much for reaching back out to let us know about the emails you aren't receiving and for your patience while waiting for a response. We will certainly be able to further assist. Would you mind describing the device you are using to receive those emails? When checking all the settings, did you also check on the sorting order? Often the sorting order can be the cause of not seeing new emails.

@XfinityGabriel​  In my original forum post, I mentioned that I was missing emails from Sept 2 - Sept 19.  I am using the Xfinity Webmail Online service.  I don't use third party email programs.  I have tried all your suggestions, but those missing email messages are not appearing in my account.  This is the problem.  Missing emails from the dates mentioned.  I am currently receiving email from the xfinity webmail online server from Sept 20 to Present.  I want to know if xfinity can retrieve my missing emails from the timeframe I mentioned since its possible I missed important emails from my hospital.

@jlmilan Thank you for trying out our regular troubleshooting steps for when you are missing emails. We will want to have you logged in and send a test email to confirm you are able to receive emails now and open a ticket for the missing ones from the time frame you provided above. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started. 

 

•  Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary 
•  Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon) 
•  Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
•  Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line 
•  Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
•  Press Enter to send it

I am not receiving any messages from gmail accounts.  Have tried sending from several accounts.  Am receiving messages from other domains.  I have no spam filter enabled and the spam folder is empty.

Should also mention I've checked it on the web-based email system.
