NO IMAGES IN EMAILS
How do I fix NO IMAGES, ONLY ICONS in me emails all of a sudden. Not all are doing
it but most are only showing icons instead of the images. How do I fix this problem?

I added a clarifier to my original post based on the new information that was found
More than likely the location address starts with HTTP:// you must change it to HTTPS:// when pasting into your browser window as this is what Chrome is doing automatically for you.
At this point, other browsers are not changing the HTTP to HTTPS which is why they continue to work. Although, I am sure it won't be long before others follow.

Yaxman, you are absolutely correct. I don't buy that it is ONLY a Chrome issue.

If I forward the same email with the images that don't download to another web based email system such as Outlook.com or Gmail, the images load properly while still using chrome. So, I would again suggest that this is a comcast mail issue or a combination issue for comcast when using chrome.
Works fine for other web based email using chrome and also works in comcast when using another browser. So, it appears to be an issue only when using chrome for comcast web bvased email.

I found the solution in another post. It is a Chrome setting. Go here to look for the post from melder54: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Email-Web-Browsing/Inline-images-aren-t-appearing/td-p/3362217

@mal316 - turning off security features is not the answer and "loading unsafe content" is extremely risky. Turning that setting off might make images reappear in emails but it opens your browser to certain kinds of attacks and that's why it's on by default.
Comcast employees have posted what part of the problem is - a change in the Chrome security model and defaults - and they're going to have to change the webmail code to accomodate those changes.

Hi amsctalx,
Thank you for the valid warning. In a perfect world, I could follow this warning. As it is though, I am taking on a calculated risk. I configured chrome to allow unsafe content only for xfinity connect. The lack of downloaded images has been annoying, but I was grumpily living with it until yesterday, when actual content that I needed was in an image. It was a reward coupon, and I wanted to print it out. I had to send it to another computer with another email client, then save it as a PDF, then send back to the other computer to print out. The word annoyed does not do justice to how I was feeling after all that.
Email is inheritently a security risk. For the past 3 months or so, I've been getting phishing emails made to look like Amazon emails, or other business emails. Even classic email "letters" from Nigeria and such, always some sum of money just waiting for me. Obviously, my email address is freely floating on the dark web. So I'm always cautious these days when dealing with emails.
