Move Email to Yahoo Mail.

I received an email advising me to move my email to Yahoo Mail. Is this a scam or is it legit?

Question not answered.  When will the transfer occur?  How do I identify a real  message from comcast/xfinity.  I received one from msn and 3 from Verizon.  Are they all spam?

Thank you @bpintard for your request for clarification on our Xfinity Community forums.

In the original link we sent you for review, it does reference an additional link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-safety

That document linked above states the following;
- Check the sender: Valid emails regarding this move will come exclusively from xfinity@updates.xfinity.com.
- Look for the verified email logo: If you are accessing your email through webmail, official messages from us will always display the Xfinity verified email logo. (If you go to the above link you can see an image of the official logo by clicking on the link.)

- Be wary of urgency: Scammers often use threatening language (e.g., "verify immediately or lose access") to make you act without thinking.

- Protect your password: Xfinity will never ask you to reply to an email with your password or sensitive personal information.

- Verify the website: You will only be asked to accept Yahoo’s Terms of Service after you securely sign in at connect.xfinity.com and are redirected to Yahoo’s official website.

I hope that clarifies your concerns and confusion.  As you can see above, you should not be receiving emails from MSN or Verizon in regard to your migration, only xfinity@updates.xfinity.com
