missing emails

Hi,  I had hundreds of emails in my Comcast inbox and on Saturday they disappeared. I was in Outlook, imap account. Nothing else was impacted. They have tried to restore but my emails are not showing up. How do i get the right person to assist - I've spoken to several people with agreements to call me for follow up - never occurs. Yes, I"m frustrated with Comcast although most importantly i'm looking for a solution.  Thanks

Hi @avecmoo, I am sorry to hear about your email troubles. I can understand how frustrating it is to lose emails. Personally, I use email for everything and have very important documents stored. You have reached the right team to help. Can you please send a private message with your first and last name and your address, so I may further assist? I'd really appreciate it! Well it's been a week and Comcast has noted they are unable to retrieve.  Suggesting they would have been best recovered in initial 24-48 hours. I contacted Comcaste within an hour. I"m now missing hundreds of emails wihtout any solution. Is there a better service that safely backs up emails should this occur - thought is server down possible

Hi, I'm missing emails from whole years (searching "2013" comes up with no mail at all, for example). How can I get these emails back?

Hello, I also lost all email and all of my subfolders! I contacted Comcast immediately and after talking with many reps and techs I was told my information was given to the email server people (sorry I can't remember what exactly was said) and they would attempt to recover and was told NOT to call back, that if I didn't receive a recover folder, then ALL of my emails and folders are just gone. HOW is that possible? In literally a blink my entire email account was wiped out, absolutely nothing anywhere! Apparently Comcast doesn't do any back ups of the email servers ever?? This happened 2 weeks ago. I've been very upset and distraught over the whole thing.
