missing email older than two years

How can I resync my imap email to my windows outlook client because everything older than two years is missing

You mean my Microsoft account? I am using outlook 365 as my client.

Yes - I just did it now and closed my browser and now it seems to only go back two months, which is worse.

It seems to be slowly loading, so lets give it a day and see if it all comes back. It is now back to February '26

It stopped at the same date as before  April of 2022. I have mail going back to 1999. Was there any policy in place at Xfinity to delete mail older than a certain time? I had to rebuild my machine last April and reconnect all my accounts. Prior to that I had all my email going back to 1999. Something happened when I rebuilt the machine and reconnected I believe that stopped attaching the IMAP mail on the Comcast servers to my client account at a certain date. Can you please check if there is any policy on this?
