Migration to Yahoo email (alert)

If you are an Xfinity customer with email, here is some information if you have NOT yet accepted the Invite to move your email over to Yahoo.
I just spoke with 3rd tier support after complaining about their lack of help answering questions such as "when will the invite come" and once it comes "how many days do I have to accept and have email moved to Yahoo".
SO here is what I was told
#1. In the beginning, they did not give Xfinity email customers the option to move emails to Yahoo. And there was a time limit as to when they had to move.
#2. Customers started complaining and the listened.
#3. Now it is optional to have your email moved over to Yahoo. But there is a 6-months time period now to keep using Xfinity email
#4. They will be notifiying customers that there was a policy change. When they will notify, maybe in the next few weeks.
#5. Bottom line - [Edited: “Profanity”]  Now they are backtracking.
However if you already moved to Yahoo or changed or email address totally, sorry.
For those of us still using Xfinity email, well what can I say

I do apologize if the email concerns were a bit over whelming. Did you get the clarity you needed when you talked to support?

I did not choose that ID. How do I change it to what I want?
