As @Latoque helfully pointed out here on the thread, you can go to a web browser to access your email. If you go to Xfinity.com and sign into your account. Once logged in you can click the profile icon in the top right corner, and when the pulldown menu drops, click on "Check Email."

Alternatively you can also set up your email through a third party program like Outlook or Thunderbird using the instructions located here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email.
