Log Into Comcast.net Email

I have two email comcast.net email accounts and I would go to comcast.net to login. Since Saturday, 2/1/25 I am unable to get logged in. The page goes to Xfinity.com and I click sign in and it just keeps going in a circle. Can't get into email accounts.  I tested sending to the email addresses and it goes through.

user_cpqyv5, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. Try these steps to set up a new email. Let us know if you still need help.

To set up a new Comcast email on Windows Mail, follow these steps:
Type "Mail" in the search bar and select Windows Mail.
In the Mail app, go to Settings, then Manage Accounts.
Select Other account, enter your Comcast email address, name for outgoing messages, and password.
Click Sign in and then Done once the account setup is successful. This process ensures your Comcast email is configured on Windows Mail.

I don’t want a new email. I want to access my email in the Comcast/ xfinity account I’ve had for decades. What happened?

Greetings, @dmurphy2! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues connecting to your email, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

Can you please tell me a little more about what's happening? Are you able to log in to your account, but not your email, or are you having trouble logging in to everything? When was the last time you were able to access your email without these issues? Have you tried any of the above-mentioned troubleshooting steps (clearing cache, using a different browser or device, using an incognito browser, etc.)?

Same problem.  Xfinity sent me an email that my accounts would be closed, but I cannot get to them to see if there is anything that needs to be saved.

I need help and no way to get it. I’ve been with the chat assistant who isn’t live by the way. She said she got me an appt for today because I need a technician. Never showed up. My internet is on and off which means the tv is off and I don’t get emails. No one to call or tell. This is unexceptable for $300+ a month

wow what an example of non service! I can’t log on to my comcast account and the help line is a circle of doom. You send me the email to log on or be cancelled and then there is no way to do so!

user_dtxmyt Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a similar issue. Are you using our Xfinity Website to access your email or a third-party email address? Is this happening on all of your devices? Have you tried an incognito page or a private page? We also recommend clearing the cache and cookies. Have you tried that already?

Well, I thought I was the only one with email problems and it looks like there’s lots of people having trouble. The problem is on the Xfinity end of the issue. I was told to turn off my VPN and I did also did a test that showed that things on my end seem OK It’s just that the connection can hardly ever be made to the email. I have tried five and six times some days. Then you might be able to get it the next time but it’s not dependable and I’m getting really aggravated with it Xfinity. Please take the responsibility to see what’s wrong with your connection

Thanks for reaching out to us, how are you accessing your e-mail?

Do you go directly to https://www.xfinity.com/email or are you using a third party email program https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access ?

@user_656npf Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for reaching out so we can help you gain access to your Email account. I'd like to ask some questions to narrow down the cause of the issue and find a solution. What kind of error message pops up when you try to access your mail through Thunderbird? Are you able to sign into our website here to check your Email?

@user_656npf I have a helpful link from our help and support site that goes into all the different settings for pop clients including Thunderbird. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email.

Can you give that link a try for me?
