junk mail has DISAPPEARED

My mother has had Comcast/Xfinity e-mail for two decades. Her husband used to give away their e-mail address to EVERYONE, and the result was a flood of junk mail and spam. Recently, that was about a dozen a day. Pretty awful. Managed to filter most of it out, though, sending it to a Junk folder, which got pretty big. But as of two weeks ago, ALL JUNK MAIL STOPPED. As in NONE. NO MORE. All other mail is coming through fine. Has Xfinity started totally blocking e-mails it suspects to be junk? Not a smart move. More sensible to slide them all over to the spam folder. Do junk mailers use ONE LIST of e-mails that someone could get dropped off of? This is delightful, but also totally bizarre.

@clarkr I am not aware of these changes, but here is a link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience that will help with setting email filters or spam filters. Let me know if this helps.

@clarkr If you could DM me your mother's email address, I can ensure it's not some other issue.  I'll take a peek at the logs and settings for her account.

To DM the employee click on his/her name, and on the landing page click on the three dot ellipse at the upper right corner, then on "Send message".
