I cannot connect to imap server from outlook classic or Iphone

I cannot connect to imap server from outlook classic or Iphone.  Been around to circle for two days now with customer service with no help.  I can connect via xfinity website and new Outlook on PC and through mail app on Iphone (although it is very slow).  Cannot connect on Iphone with latest Outlook app installed.  3rd party access is checked.  password is correct.

I am having the same issue since Tuesday -- with Thunderbird on laptop and with Gmail on android phone.

I am having the exact same problem. My iPhone email app started working buy my Outlook 365 will not accept my password even though it is absolutely correct.

my comcast email stopped working in my outlook (classic) this morning as well.  :(  What the heck is going on??

Same here. My setting are all correct. xfinity doesn't seem to believe this is going on. I had a support rep call me and told me to reset my password (change it). I knew that wasn't the issue and I was correct as I changed my password and I get the same error (asking me for my password repeatedly). Magically, my iphone app started working for comcast.net, but my desktop outlook still will not connect. [Edited: "Language"]??

Hello, @user_hf699s.  Thank you for taking the time out of your day to reach out about the email syncing. I understand that can be a frustrating thing to go through. I apologize none of the troubleshooting steps resolved the problem. We want things to be easy! Some of our other users have reported that this is resolved now. Is this working for you now or do you still need assistance?

Amazing that all my emails just magically started working again last night.  Uggh, Comcast what are you doing????!

@XfinitySara​ it was working fine until this morning and today classic Outlook for PC stopped syncing again.  New Outlook works fine and so does Outlook for Iphone.
