I am not getting password reset emails from external vendors.

This has been going on for the last few months.  When I do password resets or try to establish new accounts with my comcast email address, the email messages do not come through.

I have tried other browsers and looking in on the Yahoo app but the emails never come through.  If I use any other email address, the email is present almost immediately.

Very frustrating.  I am trying to log into to check into my flight this morning and I cannot get the reset email.

@user_jrjy66 I am sorry to hear you are not getting your password reset emails. Has your email already been migrated to Yahoo?

Yes. It has been migrated to Yahoo. But I have had this problem prior to the transfer and after.

Emails from my employer would not come through either. It seemed to be only them at first.

Recently I have had it happen multiple times when registering new products or resetting emails. If I use my Comcast, nothing comes through.  Even after multiple attempts when I get the confirmation an email has been sent, nothing arrives. Then I switched to another email, the email comes through nearly immediately.

This is maddening when my username is tied to my Comcast email and I cannot get the password reset emails.

user_jrjy66 Apologies for the frustration with the email situation. I was wondering if you are seeing any of those messages being moved to the spam/junk section? One thing to look at is the Yahoo inbox can automatically separate your incoming mail into tabs like Primary, Offers, Social, and Newsletters. You toggle the switch next to Inbox categories to Off to remove the category tabs and return to a single unified inbox.

I checked junk/spam prior to my first post.  I also logged onto Yahoo directly and searched all folders thinking that it may be a Yahoo/email client issue.  As far as I can tell, it is not.  The emails are just not there.

I checked the Yahoo inbox categories just now (I use All, not Primary) and all the emails in those categories are appearing on my email client and the password reset emails are not in those categories.  I have turned off the categories function.  It does not appear to change anything when viewed from the email client (I could see all of those emails in my email client before changing the setting).

I have found several other forum postings similar to mine that indicate that the sender domain for the emails have been blocked.  These postings seem to imply that domains can be blocked if users report spamming from a domain and has to be reset.  Spam is really bad and I hate dealing with it but blocking necessary emails is much worse.

When searching this issue on Google, the following summary comes up...
"On the Xfinity Community Forums, users agree that automated emails from external websites frequently get blocked or dropped before hitting @comcast.net inboxes. [1]

Contact Xfinity Support: If critical emails are completely missing, reach out to Xfinity Support Forums to submit a ticket for blocked server-side."

This seems to align with the other forum posts I have read.

Thank you for the information @user_jrjy66. If your email address has already been migrated to Yahoo, we no longer have the ability to troubleshoot those accounts, and you would need to reach out to Yahoo here, or call a dedicated support line at 1-866-764-7650 for live Yahoo support assistance.
