How to have my iPhone Mail App show my Xfinity emails and folders

I had deleted the iPhone Comcast Mail App since the pdfs were not downloading from the server on my emails.  Now None of the Xfinity inbox/folders I have will show on my iPhone.  And the Comcast Mail app now looks like gmail.  How do I get back to my Xfinity emails.

you’ll have to add your Comcast email as a new account. If you have updated to iOS 26 it’s a little tricky the imap choice no longer shows up under settings, apps, mail, add new account. I found out from an advanced tech that if you add a bogus password when setting up you will get an error message, click okay and the choice from imap and pop 3 will be there. Choose imap. Enter your name and your full email address and correct password. For the incoming port settings enter 993 and for outgoing smtp.comcast.net enter 587.

Hi there! We'd be happy to help.

Just to clarify, there isn't currently a dedicated Comcast/Xfinity Mail app. Xfinity email is now managed through Yahoo's platform, so the sign-in experience and appearance may look different than what you were used to seeing previously.

A few questions:

  • Are you using the built-in iPhone Mail app, or are you accessing your email through the Yahoo Mail app?
  • When you sign in to your Xfinity email through a web browser, do you see all of your folders there?
  • Are the emails missing entirely, or are you only missing your custom folders?

If your folders and emails appear correctly when signing into Xfinity/Yahoo Webmail, but not on the iPhone, it may simply be a matter of re-adding the account or adjusting the mail sync settings on the device.

Let us know what you're seeing, and we'll be happy to help get those folders showing up again. 😊

I’m using the native mail app on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro. My interest is to have all my folders sync with my apple devices. When I login to my Xfinity account, I go to the right margin and click down to check my email. It looks exactly the same as it always has. An Xfinity advanced security tech helped me set up my imap mail to sync on all my Apple devices. He never mentioned using Yahoo and I’m not interested in doing that or using a different email address since many things are set up using my specific email address. I have no clue about the Yahoo email and have never used it. Right now, my inbox, as well as all folders including folders I have created are showing up when I check my email and they all sync with my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro.

Also a big question I would have is how does that affect actual email addresses?  My Comcast.net email address is my user name for several things.
