is there an easy way to sort/filter emails by size and date to do bulk deletions of older larger files that are using up the 10G of storage space ?

Hey ICN2U, thanks for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. I don't believe there is a filter but there is an add a condition option which includes size. If you did that method, you would just want to remove the condition once you're done so new emails aren't impacted. Our website here, has the instructions to set up conditions about half way down.

I hope by asking the question, you are smart enuf to realize how helpful this would be.    Your delete process is very antiquated and cumbersome.  I like to keep emails as long as possible, by choice, but when 10G gets full, I realize the need to purge.   Having a way to BULK erase would be helpful.  If as you say "I don't believe there is a filter", then hopefully as an " Official Xfinity Employee.", you know to whom to send this request for consideration and implementation.

thank you.

You could select the folder you want to search in, then at the top of the message list click on "Sort".  Click on "Size".  The ones with attachments will be the ones at the top of that list.

From the connect.xfinity.com/appsuite website you can sort by size.

From the Inbox, if you look to the right you should see the word "All".  Going further to the right is the word "Sort".  There you can sort by Size.  Unfortunately, you'll only be able to delete by a page at a time.

Hopefully that helps.

So you cannot bulk - delete by sender?  Most email services offer a "find messages from sender" function that I (and MANY other users) would find most helpful. If you do not have that capability, I urge you to implement it soon. Thank you.

You can sort by From which I just did in my Inbox, and then bulk delete that way by putting a check in the first box, holding down the Shift key, scrolling down and putting a check in the last box.  [I'm sure you already knew how to do that, but needed to post it anyway.]
