How do I change my email?

You have my email address wrong. WHen I go to edit my profile, it's grayed out. How do I get it set to the right email (It's currently set to my wife's email)

I'm sure trying to verify the account will be difficult if a code was needed via email, I would be happy to help out and make sure we have this updated.

If you visit https://customer.xfinity.com/settings are you able to access the email address and to edit it to your correct email?

@XfinityPaula Yes, it is correct there (customer.xfinity.com). It is wrong in the forums.xfinity.com system and in that system it is "grayed out"

@user_d6def3, thanks. If you have updated your email address here, it should eventually update on the forum as well. How long has it been since you updated it?

My regular email is already the "preferred email"

Forums. has never updated the information. My wife has to keep sending me notifications when this thread is updated.
