Getting "email address is already associated with an Xfinity account"
I would really like to use the email I have used for many years for my Comcast correspondence. When I try to enter it, I get the "email address is already associated with an Xfinity account"
I had a comcast telework business account that used that email. I contacted that team and they had me remove that email from the payment center login which I did a week ago. I still get the email address in use error when trying to add it to my new residential account.
I have searched on this topic in the forum and it seems there is no solution other than having a comcast tech manually fix this somewhere in the billing/provisioning system. I have no other comcast login other than the payment center (which is not using that email).
I have tried contacting support via phone and chat and no one can help.
