Forwarding

First off I have to say switching my email to Yahoo was a major bad mistake.  I want to use a another

email provider.  How do I get Comcast to forward to something other than Yahoo?

Greetings @user_jfk28,

As @Again stated, once you have made the transition to Yahoo Mail they will now host the servers for your emails. Any further forwarding steps you would need to know about would be based on the settings that Yahoo Mail permits. With that being said, there are quite a few benefits of moving to Yahoo Mail. Enhanced security features, a built-in calendar that’s easy to use, the mobile app to keep you connected on the go, and AI-powered inbox organization makes for a more efficient email experience.

If you've migrated to Yahoo, you'll need to ask them as they are now your email provider.

You still have your @comcast.net email address, it's just on the Yahoo servers, so basically, it does bypass Comcast completely

I am not a Comcast Employee.
