Folders and contacts missing in email

Greetings,

I am not sure what has happened, I did ignore some messages in the weeks prior to my email format changing and sure enough it changed. I no longer have access to my saved folders, contacts, and I guess whatever else the old format provided. I am learning the new presentation ok, and the thing is I can access the old format of presentation on my phone. I still have my main email address, just not anything that has historically been attached. PS a warning I tend to find other things to do that don't involve a computer screen. I don't think I am in a hurry, nothing is unavailable, it's just easier to work on the laptop. Thanks for any help.
