Error When Accessing Email

Hello, we are former Xfinity customers because we moved to an area that does not have Xfinity service. We were told that we could keep our email address. Yesterday, our email addresses stopped letting us login. When we login through Xfinity Connect it says: "Error - We're sorry. It looks like something went wrong. Please try again in a moment." I saw in a previous post from @XfinityCSAEmail on this froum that there is an email for life setting that has to be enabled for former customers. Would someone please turn this on for us? We've reached out to tech support already and they have not been able to help us and say that our acccounts are still active. Thanks!

Hello @user_28dce2 I can understand your concerns with the email, here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-activity is some really helpful information on email activity police on the email. Unfortuantely, we do not have the capability to set up an email for life setting through this platform but we do have a customer security assurance team at 1-888-565-4329 they are available from 6:00am - 2:00am EST, 7 days a week they may be able to further help with this email concern.

@XfinityDaisy I called the customer security assurance team and spoke to two different representatives for 2.5 hours and they still can't solve my issue. Would please help me escalate this?

@XfinityCSAEmail You solved my same issue for another customer by enabling the "email for life" setting. Would you please help me?

@user_28dce2 I hate to hear that calling CSA hasn't been successful just yet. They are the expert team that is best suited to help. If you wouldn't mind reaching out to them again, I am confident they can get this resolved.

I no longer work for Comcast.

@XfinityDaisy: Please note that https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse says "Business Hours: 8:00am - 12:00am EST, 7 days a week".

This worked for me, but you have to dial this number. Any other xfinity number takes you to people who will tell you you’re locked out of your account forever. The person I spoke to at 1-888-565-4329 was extremely helpful and got the issue rectified. I haven’t had access to my comcast.net email for months. Once he fixed it, all of my emails were still there including new ones.
