ERROR Message

I have 2 comcast.net email accts on my iPhone. I can access 1 but not the other. I attempted to resolve the issue by deleting the “errored” acct and reinstalling it. I get the message that Comcast is not available. I can only access my “errored” email through logging onto the actual Xfinity site. When I do this, I get a pop up box at the top of my new emails that reads: Error: The provided login data to access mail server imap.comcast.net seem to be wrong. Please correct them. I then have to hit the “!” to delete the pop up in order to see my new emails behind it. WHY? What’s the fix? Is this an issue because my email account still reads as Comcast instead of Xfinity? What next? I won’t be able to access my other “Comcast.net” email account?

Hey there, user_1wki3f thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums. I know how important it is to have access to your emails. I rely on my Comcast email for all my important messages. You have reached the right place to get this resolved.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
