Error IMAP server refuses to import one or more E-Mails.

Help!  What does this mean?  It stops me from composing and sending any emails.  It stops me in the middle with that error.  I will also get the message "an error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request".  I get these exact same messages no matter what browser I use. I cleared the cache and cookies on my Edge browser and still get these messages. I have closed down and cold re-booted multiple times.  Now what? I'm dead in the water and I need my email!!

Same here.  I tried a different computer platform and a different ISP and a different email address, no joy.  I assume the problem must be with Xfinity email servers.

Thanks that helps.  My husband is having the exact same problem.  He is using, of course, a different computer, different email.  I hope this is resolved soon.

Although your answer is correct I'm hoping if I leave it open, someone from Xfinity will answer.

Hello, @user_m2zob8 Are you also unable to access your email in your browser's incognito mode? Have you also stayed within your email limitations? Keep the total number of recipients in the To:CC:and BCC: fields to under 100. Customers aren't permitted to email more than 1,000 recipients from any address over a rolling 24-hour period.

Same exact situation here in Norcal.   I get the message "an error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request". and my email is locked up.  I called CS and LOL they had no idea what I was talking about and were entirely zero help.  Hey "Official Xfinity Employee" why don't you just tell us what is wrong?  Jeez.

Just got off the phone with CS--he said it's "planned maintenance, they are working on their website and it will be down for the next several hours". (IF it's planned, then why aren't their customers notified ahead of time?) Ugh...also told him that no one from Comcast has responded to any of our posts! UGH again!

@none2   I mean... seriously.. TRIPLE UGH indeed.  Planned?  It wasn't planned with us now was it?  Weird thing is, Comcast stopped working with Thunderbird yesterday and now today they are borked again.  Ahh Comcast/Xfinity, what can we expect.  :O(
