Here is some help for imap configureation:
Open your email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird).
Navigate to the option to add a new account.
Enter your name, Comcast email address (e.g., username@comcast.net), and password.
Choose IMAP as the account type.
Configure the incoming mail server with:
Server Name: imap.comcast.net
Port: 993
Security: SSL/TLS
Username: Your Comcast email address
Password: Your Comcast email password
Configure the outgoing mail server with:
Server Name: smtp.comcast.net
Port: 587
Security: STARTTLS or SSL/TLS
Authentication: Yes, require authentication
Username: Your Comcast email address
Password: Your Comcast email password
Verify the settings and complete the setup process.

I've read other posts from people with similar challenges.  I've been a long-time Comcast email user.  I recently found all my folders (I created) in the trash.  I moved the folders back to where they are.  Now, the content of these folders (years 2018-2024) are gone.  Folders are empty.  I looked in the trash, nothing there.  Nothing to recover.  I used Outlook for a while, but stopped.  I checked Outlook, the folders I removed from trash are there, but no content-empty.  The folders that are now empty contained personal and family information that's very important to get back.

How do I get a hold of someone at Comcast email to solve this before my account is migrated to Yahoo mail?
