email server not connecting

Hello, I have been unable to access my email account for several hours and am getting a message that says the email server may be down and to keep trying.  Could I please get advice on how to correct this? Thank you.

No, thankfully it only lasted for 1/2 a day and now everything is working normally again. Not sure what the issue was . . .

@user_sye82y, thank you for circling back to let us know that things are back to status quo!  Sounds like the servers were just having a few hiccups that day, but I'm glad to hear that all has returned to normal!
