e-mail problems
Yesterday, the toolbar moved to the bottom of my e-mail "Compose" window. How do I restore it to the default view?

@cleemark It looks as though Xfinity made a change or two, not necessarily a welcome one, though. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do to correct it other than u se a third part email client.
@MikenGina So you aren't seeing the icon to the right of the link icon? Are you still seeing the Spell check icon? If you don't see it between those two try clicking on the two arrows to the left of the X in the upper right corner of the Compose window.

Mine too and "Insert Image" also vanished. Hoping someone has a fix!

What webmail version do you have (from [Settings icon] / About / Version)? Mine is v7.10.3-0-78, I'm using Firefox, and the Compose window still looks like the images in https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/appsuite-webmail-v710013/602dad37c5375f08cdbe3752?commentId=602dadaec5375f08cdcf77c1 with the toolbar at the top.

Now on v7.10.3-0-98 with Firefox, and the Compose HTML toolbar (with "Insert Image" icon) is still at the top.

I'm having the same issue. When I'm in the compose screen, the toolbar with the attachment, bold, underline, etc. is now on the bottom, where it used to be at the top. Is there any way to move it back to the top? I contacted Xfinity and they said they haven't made any changes and it should still be at the top. They said it could be the browser I'm using. I'm using Chrome. Any suggestions?

All there is an updated version of webmail being rolled out with some minor changes. When you log in there is a "what's new in this version" popup that summarizes all the changes. Because I know sometimes we just want to get to our email and need to dismiss these quickly due to time constraints I am posting the message below.

Thank you for posting this since, AFAICT, there's no way to recall this notice after closing the message. Seeing this for the first time today, v7.10.5-0-33 on Firefox.
Text version of the image above:
================================================================
What's new in this version [ v7.10.5-0-33 ]
Composing a new email has been updated to give you more space for
writing a message: The toolbar has been moved to the bottom of the new
messages. You can now hide and unhide the toolbar by clicking the A icon
next to the send button. You will also find the attachment icon in the same
location. Rarely used features such as priority, signature, etc. are now under
the menu at the bottom of your new message.
Messages are now automatically saved in your drafts tolder: A message will
be displayed letting you know the last time the draft was auto saved. You can
also choose to manually save using the save draft and close” option under
the menu at the bottom of the compose window.
Preview your messages without opening them: Text teasers in your email
lists can be enabled and disabled under the view menu.
