I marked an email as spam in error and now I am not receiving any emails from this person. This has happened to me more than once.

@LM092999 Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Forums! You can undo a message marked as spam. Please try these steps:

  1. In Xfinity Connect, open the Spam folder from the left navigation pane.
  2. Check the box next to the message(s) that is not spam.
  3. Click the Not Spam button at the top of the page.
  4. The email will be moved back to your inbox.

The message is no longer in spam folder- it’s deleted.

You may be able to create an email filter to allow it to come through if you know the email address you want to receive from. Here is a link for filtering Set Up Email Filters to see if this can help solve the problem. With every email you mark as spam, you are helping to train a universal filter that will help block future spam. These filters are not only influenced by Comcast customers reporting spam, but also by nine of the top twelve Internet service providers in North America. While I understand it was not your intention to block the email. We will certainly provide any information possible to help you receive the email again.

You can also effectively "whitelist" the sender by putting their email address in your address book, see here:

Good afternoon,

In most situations if the sender stopped sending to you because you marked them as spam it is due to some form of system or procedure they have set up. You will want to contact the sender to resolve any issues in sending to you when something like this happens.
