Email from Xfinifty
I received an email saying:
Last month, we notified you about important updates to our Terms of Service, Security, and Privacy Policy . Please note that by July 20th, 2026, older versions of the Comcast/Xfinity Mail system will be discontinued.
There was a link to click.
I know there is an option to move to a Yahoo mail system, and a page is displayed when I open my email, but I did not see a forced chanegover date mentioned on that page, and have not yet switched.
Being suspicious of all such emails, regardless of apparently valid company logos, especially when it looks like a spoofed address, I have not responded. Does anyone know if this is a fraud/phishing activity.

As you suspect, it's a phishing scam. The link likely leads to a scammer phishing site which typically asks you to enter your login information, and might also ask for financial info. "Update" emails that have any sort of "do this or lose your access" demand are almost always scams.
Do not click!
If possible, check email that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity with their Connect webmail site at https://connect.xfinity.com/ and look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email for examples of valid logo placement. A logo in the body of the email does not count.
Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site, and only for email sent to a Comcast.net address.
To report a scam email follow the instructions under the "How do I report a spam email sent to my Comcast.net email account?" heading on https://spa.xfinity.com/help/email-abuse?faq=spam-email.
"Conversion to Yahoo" messages look like the example in https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/68e5cc7e19d01b57e46b0864?commentId=68e64c7119d01b57e46df868 and appear when you log in to https://connect.xfinity.com/.
